Beverly Porchfest 2026
Saturday, May 30th | 12-8pm
Beverly 400+ Presents:
Porchfest!
Porchfest is back – and for Beverly’s 400th birthday, we’re going ALL IN.
Spend the afternoon in Ryal Side, where music will be spilling off of porches and into the streets. Then, follow the music downtown for an early evening of buskers and pop-up performances. We’ll close out the day together at historic Hale Farm right downtown, with a headliner performance on Beverly’s “first porch”. Bring the kids, bring the dogs, bring your lawn chairs – its PorchFest time!

HOSTS FAQ
What does a host need to provide?
A covered space that allows for a street-viewable performance and electricity access for bands!
Do I need to make space for an audience?
As much as you can! Just make sure the audience area doesn’t block sidewalks, driveways, or roads. Safety and accessibility comes first.
What do I need to do as a host?
- Serve as a point of contact for your band day-of.
- Set the stage: decorate your space however you want, get wild with it!
- Promote your porch! Help us spread the word to your friends and family.
Who’s responsible for cleanup?
Hosts are in charge of cleaning up after performances, using their own trash and recycling bins.
What if it rains?
This event is rain or shine! We ask that hosts provide a covered performance space – popup tents are your friend 🙂
Do I need to tell my neighbors?
Yeah! Please give your neighbors a heads-up and invite them to check it out. Porchfest is all about community connection.
ARTISTS FAQ
How long are the sets?
Each band will have a 30–45 minute set, depending on the schedule. We’ll let you know your exact time once slots are finalized. Please sign up only if you are available for all timeslots you are applying for.
Do bands get paid?
This is a volunteer community event, so bands are not paid – but we HIGHLY suggest you create a tip jar with a QR code for your Venmo!
What kind of setup should we expect?
You’ll be performing on a porch, driveway, or yard. Hosts will be able to provide power, but assume you’ll need to bring your own gear, including extension cords or battery-powered amps.
Can we bring merch?
Absolutely! Feel free to sell merch, promote your music, and connect with the community.
What if it rains?
This is a rain or shine event! If there is inclement weather on the horizon as we get closer to the event date, please check with your hosts about how your performance area is covered.
Who’s our contact on the day of the event?
Each performance location will have a host who will be your point person. They’ll help with timing and any small needs during the day.
Can we play covers? Originals? Both?
Yes to both! This is a laid-back, inclusive event—play what you love and keep it family-friendly.
