Member Mornings: Object Speed Dating at Hale Farm

Object Speed Dating: A Member Morning at Hale Farm

What if the objects in our collection could tell you their life stories, but only after you asked the right questions?

Join us for a playful, hands-on member morning that puts you in the historian’s seat. Ten objects will be placed around Hale Farm with a few basic clues. In small groups, you’ll rotate from object to object, consider what each item may be, who might have used it, what it reveals about the past, and what questions it raises.

Then comes the big reveal. We’ll share the answers, uncover the stories behind the objects, and see how close—or wonderfully far off—your guesses were.

No prior knowledge is required, just curiosity and a willingness to investigate the collection. This program is free with Historic Beverly membership.
